RESPONSE SAFETY SECURITY & INVESTIGATIONS (RSSI) was founded in 1994. Our mission is to provide the highest quality mobile and site security services in Canada. Response has become a key security company in the industry, one which is capable of meeting the diverse security challenges of the 21st century. RESPONSE is currently the largest mobile patrol and alarm response company in the National Capital Region (Ottawa) and Eastern Ontario. RESPONSE was the first company in Canada to introduce private security car [mobile] patrols, helping to [re]write the rules and guidelines for the private security sector in Canada. We have appeared on the front page of the Ottawa Citizen, and in other major Canadian newspapers. Public media has noted our unique approach to security concerns as a whole, and written positively about our ethic of care in the community. (Response has also been featured in an excellent TV documentary about the future of private security services in Canada Oct, 1999).

RESPONSE has a number of late model patrol cars on the road 24 hrs/7 days a week, ready to respond to your call! Our patrol vehicles are full-size sedans, fully equipped with the latest technologies, security labelled and equipped with two-way dispatch radios. A written report, summarizing our observations and findings is left at each site by our mobile security patrol guards. This procedure helps to keep you professionally informed about relevant security and safety issues on a daily basis.

Stay in bed and out of harm's way! Your staff can remain out of harm's way after hours while Response will take immediate action with respect to site calls, as well as address parking violations, investigate suspicious persons, and respond to noise complaints and burglar alarms. This is service offered via our SECURITY ON CALL program which is provided to all our mobile patrol clients.

RESPONSE carefully checks all perimeter entrances and, when required, can enter the property via our key service system to check and verify interior areas as specified in our contractual agreements.

We are also involved in a variety of important community events, contributing company volunteers (and patrol vehicles) to help make a difference. Some of the organizations that benefit from our community involvement are; the Santa Toy Parade (since 1995), Tour de Nortel (5 years), Juvenile Diabetes Association, Reach Foundation, Belair Community Association, Say "No" To Drugs Program. (We have registered over 4000 hours of volunteer time, and counting!)
